The Post Graduate Dept of Mathematics, St. Philomena college, puttur, had organized a workshop on ‘LATEX’, on 7th November 2014. The resource person of the workshop was Mr Praveen N, Asst. Proffesor Department of Post Graduate Studies in Computer Science, St .Philomena College, Puttur.
The programme was presided over by the campus director and chairperson of PG centre Rev. Fr.Dr Antony Prakash Monteiro. In his address, he said that there is a world different from mathematics; students should actively participate in the workshop to develop their external knowledge. The Coordinator of Dept of Mathematics Prof. Ganesh Bhat wished the students to take good out from the workshop.
Mr Praveen N the resource person effectively explained about LATEX and its applications to the field of mathematics. He gave presentation of usage of LATEX.
Ms Manasa D.B welcomed the gathering and Ms Shruthishree K.V delivered the Vote of thanks. Pranidhi K did the master of Ceremony.
