Suraksha Consumer Forum, NSS, Rovers and Rangers, Performing Arts and Eco Club of St Philomena College Puttur, St Philomena P.U College Puttur in association with Puttur City Municipal Council and Rotary Club Puttur-East will jointly organise a Rally to create consumer awareness, environmental awareness and health awareness on the occasion of Independence Day.
The President of the City Muncipal Council Mr. Jeevandhara Jain will declare the rally open in the college premise. Mrs. Rekha J Shetty, Muncipal Commissioner, Puttur City Municipal Council, Prof. Leo Norohna, Principal, Rev. Fr Vijay Lobo, Principal of P.U College, Mr. Vinaya Bhandary, Councillor of Ward No. 17, Mr. Ganesha Rao, President of Parent Teacher Association, Mr. M. R Jaya Kumar Rai, President of Alumni Association, Rtn. M. G. Raffik, President of Rotary Club Puttur East will be the guests of honour. Rev. Dr Antony Prakash Monteiro, Campus Director will address and wish the rally.
The rally will end in DKZP higher Primary School Parladka. Later, the students will take part in ‘Pipe Composting’ and Pit Composting’ work in all the houses of Ward No. 17 of Puttur City Muncipal Council.
