The Rovers and Rangers Unit of St. Philomena College had organised an edifying camp on 19th July, 2014 at Prerana Hall of St. Philomena College, Puttur.
It was an opportunity for the students to have an insight into the origin and the motto of the organisation.
Dr. Shreesha Kumar, Department of Sanskrit, Vivekananda College Puttur was the resource person. He called upon the unit to practice social service, environment protection and trekking.
The Vice Principal Prof. Vishnu Bhat presided over the function. The Director of Rovers and Rangers Unit, Khalandar Shareef welcomed the gathering, Leader of the Rangers Ms. Aishwarya proposed the vote of thanks. Ms. Zareehna was the Master of Ceremony. The Director of Rovers and Rangers Prof. Meenakshi was also present on this occasion.
