Nature Meets Art at Birumale Hills

Nature and Fine ArtsFine Arts Association of St. Philomena College, Puttur had organized a workshop on ‘Nature and Fine Arts’ at Birumale Hill.

The Resource Person of the programme, Dr. Prasanna Rai K, Heade of the Department of Botany, St. Philomena College said, “ Fine Arts is the offshoot of the nature and both are like two faces of a coin. People always got inspiration from amazing qualities of nature. Poets who have traversed in poetry have always been an ardent lover of nature. Many pictographs shown as ‘back to nature’ is basically propelled by nature itself.

Prof. Vishnu Bhat, Vice Principal of the College in his presidential address said, “Nature and Fine Arts always go hand in hand. The inspirational venue ‘ Birumale Hill’ is an ideal location for a workshop on ‘ Nature and Fine Arts’.

As many as 40 students participated in the workshop. Many imaginations reduced to paper with colour and into poetry which was a sight.

Asst Coordinator, Ms. Rakshitha R. B was present The Programme Coordinator; Mrs. Varija M welcomed the gathering. Ms. Paurnami member of the Fine Art Association proposed the vote of thanks.
