The 18th of August 2014, was marked as a memorable day in the life of fresher’s of M.Com and M.A Economics Students of St. Philomena Post Graduation college. The day was filled with excitement, joy, music, laughter and happiness.
The Chief guest of the Rev. Dr. Anthony Prakash Monteiro in his address recalled his students days and told students to set goal and work hard to reach the success level. The president of the function Prof. Leo Noronha , in his presidential remarks mentioned that sincerity and dedication should be inculcate in students life. Mrs. Divyashree K. coordinator of M.Com department addressed the students to use the every opportunities which will come across in life.
II year M.Com students Mr. Mahesh Nayak, welcomed the gathering, Melita Lobo Proposed the vote of thanks and Ms. Dechacca did the master of ceremony. Students actively participated and enjoyed in the games conducted by senior students. Co-ordinator of M.A Economics department Prof. Dinakar Rao and all the faculty members of M.Com and M.A Economics department were present at this day.
