As a part of our curriculum, the II year M.Com students, vi
sited some industries on 5th Oct ,2012. We started our journey from Puttur with the leadership of Mr.Mohammed Irfan and Mr.Hariprasad at 8.00 am. At first we visited Deccan Plast Industries, Bikampady and we were guided there by Mr. Nizamuddin one of the partners of the industry. We were provided with an opportunity to observe the manufacturing process of all the products undertaken by them. Mr. Ravi, the HR Manager clarified our doubts about marketing and finance at Deccan Plast Industries.
Then we visited Primacy Pvt Ltd, located in Bikampady where we were guided by Mr.Gurudatt, the HR manager and he explained the processes of manufacturing candles. Finally we visited New Mangalore Port and observed the processes of loading and unloading of the containers in the Cargo ships. At last we returned to Puttur and concluded our industrial vist.
