The event was presided over by Rev. Dr Antony Prakash Monteiro, Chairperson of P.G Studies St. Philomena College. Msgr. Dr. George Kalayil, Vicar General, Diocese of Puttur and Vice President of Karnataka Integrated Development Society (KIDS), Puttur was present as Chief Guest of the Programme. Dr. Ajith D’Souza, Principal, Mahesh P.U. College was the Resource person on the occasion.
Rev. Dr Antony Prakash Monteiro, Chairperson of P.G Studies in his presidential remarks said “these workshops are very essential and useful for students to develop their personality from all directions” and at the same time he advised the students to take an active part in the workshop.
Dr. Ajith D’Souz, Principal, Mahesh P.U. College as well as renowned soft skills trainer delivered expert lecture and conducted different group activities throughout the session. During the entire session, he dealt with improving knowledge, attitude and various skills to achieve success in any field. The resource person told the students that in this era of globalization and privatization, perfect personality matters a lot in obtaining a successful job and sustain the career. Workshop was well structured and conducted with full of interactive sessions.
Mr. Prasanna Kumar, Co-ordinator of MSW Department welcomed the gathering and in his preliminary remarks stressed on the importance of enhancing the personality skills among students to produce good citizens and successful professionals.
The programme started off sharp at 10.30 am with the opening prayer by Ms. Shravya. Ms. Arpitha S introduced the resource person. Ms. Nasreen proposed vote of thanks and Ms. Sumana emceed the programme.
