The P G department of Commerce organized a guest lecture
program on leadership skills on 21-01-2013 in SJM hall at 2.00pm. Prof. Sooryanarayan, the English lecturer, Govt Pre University college, Puttur was the resource person. Prof. Haribert Nazaret, the lecturer in commerce welcomed the resource person and the gathering.
Gagana Utthaiah introduced the resource person to the gathering. In the talk about leadership skills the resource person gave us the guidelines about how to become successful leader. To be a successful leader, the leader should make a self analysis and improve the qualities which he lacks. By giving the examples of Mahathma Gandhiji’s principles and Baba Amte’s words, he said the students to go in a path which makes him to be successful leaders. On the basis of wordings given by students he said that the leader is the one, who knows the path, shows the path and follows the path. Many students interacted with the resource person and clarified their doubts.
Mr. Raghuram Bhat, thanked the gathering with this we ended the guest lecture programme.
